Syringoma under both eyes and skin. Cost for CO2 laser treatment?
I have syringoma under both eye s skin area. Went to a dermatologist and he asked me to apply some ointment. It didn t work for me. Please tell me what type of treatment available in Bangalore. Found CO2 laser treatment will remove these but again want to know whether it will leave any scars permanently and how much approximately cost me in Bangalore.

Syringomas can be treated by
1. creams which are the simplest but not with much effect..
2. Electrocautery where the sweat glands are burnt..Involves a little pain..
3. Co2 laser treatment - best treatment as of now..
It can be done alone or can be mixed with treatment of trichloroacetic acid..
It is a relatively painless procedure.. doesn't leave any scars.
Mild erythema of skin is possible immediately after the treatment which completely resolves in 1-2 wks..
Recurrences are possible even with this procedure but the rate and onset are relatively less..
It is a little expensive procedure though I don't the exact cost of the treatment ..varies from one center to the other..
It is available in most of the private hospitals where they have a well equipped dermatology wing..
