Hi..
Thanks for the query..
Syringomas can be treated by
1. creams which are the simplest but not with much effect..
2. Electrocautery where the sweat glands are burnt..Involves a little pain..
3. Co2
laser treatment - best treatment as of now..
It can be done alone or can be mixed with treatment of
trichloroacetic acid..
It is a relatively painless procedure.. doesn't leave any
scars.
Mild
erythema of skin is possible immediately after the treatment which completely resolves in 1-2 wks..
Recurrences are possible even with this procedure but the rate and onset are relatively less..
It is a little expensive procedure though I don't the exact cost of the treatment ..varies from one center to the other..
It is available in most of the private hospitals where they have a well equipped dermatology wing..
Hope this information helps you.. take care..
