Swollen With Fluids In Joints With Redness. History Of Stubbing Toes. Have Osteoporosis. Any Connections?

Stubbed 2 toes about 1week ago. Bruising is almost gone, but joint is res and swollen. More fluid like. I have osteoporous, so not surprised if one or both are fractured. Didn't go do doctor since I undstand not much to do for them. It's the red swelling I am concerned about and relationship with osteoporosis and if I need to see a doctor to prevent further problems.

Hi,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Since you are having osteoporosis and stubbed toes with prone to fracture ,very bad situation.
Now there are redness and swelling ,so please don't ignore this type of infection.
Infection particularly may turn into septicemia ,so be careful and consult your treating doctor and get complete treatment of infected joints and bone.
Good luck.
