Swollen Vein Blue In Color Below Eyes. Its Puffier, Painful. Bp Is Normal. What Does The Finding Mean?
I have what appears to be a swollen vein blue in color running down the right side if my face starting just below my eye. The area appears a little puffier than normal and is a little painful. Do you know what could cause this un a 53yr old non-smoking, non-drinking female. Bp is always normal range and I'm not over weight...110lbs and 5'2

As you describe there is a visible vein, on the face from the eye to down on right side.
The causes may be some infection in side the facial skin.
The other causes are deep vein thrombosis, or it may be some physical obstruction.
