You can continue breastfeeding your child further you have to maintain proper hygiene to prevent passing of infection to your child.

You can take baryta carb 30 4 tabs 4 times in day for 5-6 days.Tonsillitis is associated with fever which generally remains for 2-3 days at very high grade.

If still infection remains and there are no signs of relief after taking medicines for 24 hrs.you can contact your local doctor for further evaluation
ENT Specialist Dr. Sonia. S. V's  Response
Hi, I am Dr Sonia S V. I am an ENT Surgeon & Head & Neck Specialist. If you are having a throat pain and localised more on the sides of the throat you may be suffering from tonsillitis. Do you also have swollne neck glands[ lymphnodes]?.If you have fever it may be indicative of a more severe infection.Since you also have a young child it may be worth meeting a local physician or ENT Surgeon as you may need antibiotics for a tonsillar infection.Continue breast feeding the baby.Make sure you drink enough water, gargle with salt water and you may also take over the counter pain medications.

All the best
