Swollen Small Intestine, Wbc In Urine. Severe Pain, Reoccurring. What Could Be The Cause?

I have had to take my daughter to er the last 3 days they diognosed her with mesenteric adenitis, said that she had swollen small intestine and white blood cells in urine. This is the second time in the last 5 months that she has had this and the last time she was in hospital for a week and a half. This time they had to give her morphine for the pain, she has not eaten for 4 days. Last night they gave her an IV because she was dehydrated her blood work was fine but she is still having severe pain what could be the causes of her getting this.

hi
as per your history and finding you have just mentioned as mesentric lympadenitis. its actually common in young girls. no need to worry a lot it usually confused for other disease like appendicits or other acute conditions. but there is nothing to worry about. its usually common in young girls, mostly of unknown origin. gut sometimes i is due to urinary tract infection or pelvic inflammatory disease. it just needs some antibiotics and analgesics. try not to eat outside. one of the cause can be tuberculosis but its rare without other symptoms of tuberculosis. so if possible get tested for tuberculosis if there is any histoey of exposre to tuberculosis

wish you and your daughter good health
