Swollen Reddish Cyst On The Lower Back. Treatment?

Hi, On my lower back I had what I was told was a cyst , and have had it for years. Over the past 3 days it has turned into what looked like a boil , and I started applying heat compresses to attempt to drain it. Today the area is about the size of my fist, red, swollen, very painful and now starting to form bruises around the outer sides of the swelling .

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
It seems that you got Sebaceous cyst and now it became infected.
Consult surgeon and get it removed with sac.
For time being an antibiotic medicine you will get temporary relief but there are all chances of recurring.
Ok and bye.
