For a year now I been have a swollen pus filled node in my groin area. It comes and goes but when it comes it sore and swells up with pus then drains. I been to doc and was told I had a bacterial infection snd been on multiple antibiotics and also been tested for STDs and HIV and results were were negative. What else can it be...

Hi sounds like you are having chronic lymphadenitis.You should rule out tuberculosis also.And a culture and sensitivity test from the scraping of area should be done and preferably should have parenteral antibiotics followed by oral.And proper dressing and wound toilet daily.Hope this may help you. thanks
