Swollen Nasal Glands, Problem In Breathing. Could It Be A Reaction To Allergens?
Hello doctor! My 4 year old son's nasal glands are pretty swollen although he does not have a cold or sore throat right now. I was able to see clearly by lifting his chin up. I looked today mainly because I was aware that he was breathing through his mouth at night constantly. Why are his nasal glands so swollen? Could it be a reaction to allergens?

Hi, it is the swelling of the trabiculae in the nose, it usually swells when there is cold, it may even swell when there is light allergy, or sinusitis.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
I to my patient with such symptoms priscribe pediatric nasal decongestants , cifixime 100 B.D. and nasal decongestant oral syrup.
