Swollen Lump Under Eye Brow After Plucking, Increasing In Size, Yellowy White Stuff On Squeezing
Hi i was plucking my eye brows 4 nights ago n a lump has formed just under my eye brow but its been getting bigger everyday n thismorning i woke up amd it was completely swollen n i can hardly open it , i try squeeze it n yellowy white stuff comes out of it but i cant get it all out n the lump is getting bigger . Should i get the doctor to squeeze it out

Hi,
you have developed Folliculitis. Treatment for this condition is you can just pluck out the hair which is at apex of the yellowish lump ( Pus point ) and squeeze gently as much as possible. After that clean the area thoroughly with Povidone Iodine( Available in market). Start applying Ointment Ciplox over it 3 times a day and Tab Ciplox 500 mg Orally 2 times a day for 5 days. I hope this will help you

You have developed a hair follicle infection. Give hot fomentations several times a day for 5 mins,with oral anti inflammatory drugs to reduce pain and swelling under you see your doctor.
Do not squeeze it.
Consult an ophthalmologist who can clean out the pus immediately( if broken) or later ( after your swelling comes down)under oral and topical antibiotic cover.
Keep your eye lids clean with mild shampoo and cotton dipped in warm water at bed time to avoid recurrence.
