Hi Syedharish,

Welcome to healthcare Magic!

Your problem is actually a problem of millions!

During the menstrual cycle there are a lots of hormonal changes and changes in the bulk and vascularity of uterus. There is water retention and bulkier uterus under the effect of progesterone towards the end of cycle.

It leads to swelling and a difficult figure and also backache. In others the manifestations may be more severe with headache, edema feet, vomiting, pain abdomen and low backache and irritability apart from above symptoms and is termed as Premenstrual Syndrome.

For excessive pain during menses you can take Tablet Meftal Spas post meals for 3days around the bleeding; It will reduce your symptoms like anything.
It would not affect the chances of having a baby.

Wish you a great health!

Hiiii,
Welcome to HCM.
You are probably suffering from Primary Dysmenorrhoea (painful menstrual cycle that may extend up to 24hrs). In this type, there is no such problem in conceiving baby in future. And this type of pain is usually cured following pregnancy and vaginal delivery.
There are several measures to overcome Premenstrual symptoms ( swollen lower abdomen, breast tenderness,Stress, mood swings etc) along with Dysmenorrhoea. Those like:
1)Avoid stress by yoga,deep breathing,do light exercise.
2)Avoid taking salt, caffeine in 2nd half of cycle, only take healthy diet.
3)Bowel should be clear by taking more vegetables and lots of fluid.
4)Take anti spasmodic drug like NSAIDs(Mefenamic acid or Brufen or Drotin),take OCP or Progesterone pill (Duphaston 10 mg twice daily for 10-15days or anything else) to relief from symptoms of Dysmenorrhoea.
5) Take Pyridoxine 100mg twice daily along with SSRI (like Fluoxetine 20mg single oral dose) to improve symptoms associated with PMS.
Be well and tc.
