Swollen leg, calf after falling. Numbness in shin. Severe damage?

Hello, I fell yesterday in the shower and hit my shin very hard on a ledge and rolled my ankle. Now a day later my leg and calf are swollen. My shin where it struck the ledge is also fairly numb. There is some red under my skin also. I can walk on it fine with only minor pain..mostly my leg just feels very right now. Will this resolve itself in a few days or could I possibly have done severe damage or develope a blood clot?

Welcome to HCM,
It seems that due to injury you might have developed hematoma in shin and calf muscles.
Take anti inflammatory medicine and if possible antibiotic to prevent infection.
Apply cold pack 3-4 times a day.
Give rest to the part.
Ok and bye.
