Swollen Leg And Ankle After A Fall With Bruising. Burning And Chills In The Leg. Is It Normal?
I fell about 2 weeks ago and hit the front of my lower leg. (no break in skin) my leg was swollen and my ankle turned black and blue. (that part is gone now) however after 2 or so weeks I still have a burning in my leg and a bump where I hit it. My leg is still slightly swollen and just feels tight. sometimes I get the burning and slight chills in my leg?
After reading your post, it seems that you have sufferd from soft tissue injury.
It takes few days to weeks for complete recovery.
Hot fomentation and local application of pain relieving gel will help in relieving your symptoms.
Pain killer like Ibuprofen one tablet twice a day after meals along with an antacid like Omeprazole 20 mg will help to decrease the pain and swelling.
You can apply locally elastic bandage for support.
If the problem persists, get an X-Ray done and get yourself examined clinically by an Orthopedician.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
