Swollen Knee, Tight Hamstring. Will Massage Help?

My knee has been swollen for about a week and a half and is cracking a lot.....after exercising I tried to do a lunge and my leg just wouldn't do it and it hurt for just a second....didn't hurt for the rest of the day but was swollen the next day and hurt a bit. Then about 4 days later I felt a pop and it immediately felt better....I can walk...no pain but I can't squat all the way down with the injured leg. Hamstring feels somewhat tight as well....it feels like a massage would help...not sure!?

Hellooo...
It is better that you consult an orthopedician since your knee is swollen and you are hearing the crackling sound , do not massage it you may do more harm to it than good.
Thank you and take care
