Swollen Groin Lymph Nodes, Constipation, Pressure In Anus And Vulva, Swollen Vulva, Burning Urination. Serious?

Hello, I m a 38 year old woman, with swollen groin lymph nodes, for a week and half now. I also have some constipation , pressure in the anus and slight pressure in the vulva . It feels there may be swelling inside the vulva. And though it s improved, my urine stream was less forceful than usual and there is a slight burning sensation before I urinate. No cloudiness, blood, or back pain, nor different smell. I did spend a couple hours on a riding lawn mower 2 weeks ago which started the groin discomfort, felt like bruising, could be coincidental? I have been drinking cranberry juice and increased water and fiber for a week and a half...just want to make sure this isn t more serious than a basic UTI, or if I should see a doctor. I do have access to cephalaxin if need be...Thank you for any help you can provide.

Hi,
You should get yourself evaluated to find out if you have any infection in the vulva as infection in that area can lead to swelling of nodes in the groin because of the lymphatic drainage area. You should also have your urine examined for evidence of any infection. Riding a lawn mower usually does not lead to enlargement of lymph nodes in the groin. Keep on taking the cranberry juice but do not resort to cephalexin unless you have had that urine examination.
