Swollen gland on neck, tiredness, lack of appetite, sore on scalp, coughing green phlegm

hi i have a swolen gland on my neck . general tiredness and lack of appitite and a little sore on myy sculp.. i had a cough to but it seems to be going although i still cough thick greenish slime. has happened for about 2 weeks. a few months ago i had chest pain in the sternum area (very localised between two ribs) that went away after i moved out my room when i discovered mould under the matrase

Thanks for your query.
I will strongly advise you to go for fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) of the neck gland. As your symptoms clearly point to chest infection. At this juncture tuberculosis must be ruled out. This is a simple outdoor procedure of just 5 minutes and readily available with pathologists. Apart from this go for sputum examination ( gram stains, culture sensitivity, AFB staining)....
