Swollen Face. No Pain Or Itching, What Could Be This?

My sister s face is really swollen and im getting kind of nervous. She said its not itchy or bugging her but its just swollen. What do you think it is?

There could be n number of causes for a swollen face. It depends on her current age and how long has it been so. Still the most common causes are anemia and renal problems. You should get a CBC and renal profile done. Also hypothyroidism also leads to a similar problem and TSH should also be evaluated. The findings of these results will help us in identifying the exact cause. But you need not panic as some times there may not be any apparent cause.
