Swollen breast, darker vein on right breast. Change of bra. Under active thyroid. Reason?

I'm 60 years old and post menopausal. Can hormones cause my breasts to become swollen? They seem to go down more on the weekends and in the evenings but become more swollen during the day. I did switch from an underwire bra, but that didn't seem to help. I have noticed a slightly darker vein on my right breast. Do you know what could be causing this? I have an underactive thyroid and am taking Levothyroxine which was increased over the summer from 50 mcg to 75 mcg and have osteoporosis and am taking Fosamax.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
Putting on weight may cause the enlargement of breast, but a single breast mass increased is uncommon, and for that the breast should be examined properly, to find out the lump inside you can do it your self, just palpate the breast with your left hand while raised your right hand, if you find any lump see the doctor, even if it is painful with no lump then also you need to see the doctor, have nice day. (Hormone and single breast enlargement have no relation )
