Swollen And Red Arm Due To Wasp Sting. No Fever, Nausea, Breathing Problem. On Benedryl. Any Other Solution?

My husband had a wasp get trapped in his shirt sleve on Wed. evening. It stung him 5 times. Did not see a stinger. On Friday I noticed his arm was swollen and red. Got him to take Benedryl and use ice. It is still swollen and red. He has no fever or breathing problems or nausea. I am just concerned about the swelling and how long it should last and if this is normal. What else should I be doing?

thanks for the query.
if it is still red in swelling with central white patch ,make sure that there is any formation of pus .
in some persons it could be normal.last for a week.
use some anti inflammatory drugs like chymoral forte,so that the swelling will be reduced.

even after use of this medication doesnt subsides the swelling go to your nearby doctor to evaluate the cause of swelling.

thanku
