Swelling Below Collar Bone, Lymph Node, No Fever

I have a small swollen area below and along my right collar bone . I assume it s a lymph node and it s been there for over two months. The area has started throbbing and I have not ran a fever . My husband wants me to see a doctor but I feel silly going for something that s probably no big deal.

I would advise you to see a doctor anyway because it could turn out to be an abscess or pus collection, cold abscess or similar condition . A cold abscess indicates an underlying Tuberculosis. Even a lymph node enlargement for >2 months needs a biopsy.
