My daughter got her ears pierced 2 days ago. She now has swelling on her ear lobes. They are also a little red. There is no sign of drainage. This is the 3rd time she has had them pierced because of infections. Each time we have used a different metal. The first time 14kt.gold, then Titanium and now we went with 24kt gold plated with surgical steel. Should we give this some time. We are cleaning her ears 3 times a day. She is also twisting them with clean hands and I make sure the solution gets in the ear hole by moving the earing back and forth like they suggested.
