Surgery On Right Medial Malleolus, Pain And Pressure In Right Lower Posterior Femur In Sciatic Nerve Division. Normal ?
I had surgery on my right medial malleolus this last wednesday because I fractured it playing soccer. I expected pain in the ankle, but I am also experiencing a great deal of pain(6-7) and pressure in my right lower posterior femur in the area of the sciatic nerve division. The pressure feels like a badly pulled hamstring and I was wondering if this is a normal post-op symptom. Thanks. - AAAA
AS you underwent a surgery in region of Medial malleolus and now as you have pain Rt lower posterior femur if the pain is intolerable it might be due to cause other than your post operative status though if the pain persists longer you need to feel worried and consult a Orthopedic Surgeon for the same Thanks hope this reply helps you to get better management with good luck from Dr Chowhan
