Sunburn Spots On Face, Itching. What To Do?

Hi, I am in 26 years old and currently working in the field of marketing(office-based) in Delhi/NCR. I have black sunburn spots on my face, and these spots are increasing day by day, sometimes i get itching as well.I had flawless skin, and ever since I ve moved to Delhi, I have been suffering from this skin problem.I do use stole and scarf, umbrella etc, but it doesn t solve my purpose, spots are still popping up. . I have to sit in AC for 9 hours. Please suggest what to do, as I don t want to take risk with my skin. My skin is normal to dry, and I am allergic to dust and old books.I don t even use cosmetics much, resort more to natural products. Please tell, how can I get my flawless skin back.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

Sun exposure can aggravate pigmentation.Keeping the sunprotection is important to treat hyperpigmentation. Use sunscreen with SPF 50.

Effective oral and topical medications are now available for Hyperpigmentation around eye.

My advise to you would be to use topical Glyaha cream with good moisturizer.
Take vitamin C tablets daily.

Few treatments like microdermabrasion and chemical peel can help to dark spots effectively.

Discuss these options with your dermatologist.

Hope this helps.

Hi,welcome to HCM,i am Dr.DAS.
you must use sunscreen when going out in day.The sunscreen must be of SPF 30 and oil based which will protect your skin from sunburn and also moisturizing your skin. After reaching house must clean your face with soap free face wash. You also can go for spot reduction treatment from well known beauty parlor.
