Dry eyes is common following lasik surgery and it occurs because of decreased corneal sensation which occurs following lasik surgery as the lasik surgery involves the lifting of a corneal flap thus decreasing the tear secretions. No need to worry, the treatment is easy and it responds very well to use of artificial tears eye drops. You can use it as frequently as one drop per one hour if the condition is severe.
