Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of upper respiratory tract infection which is causing pain in lower back as well. Need not to worry.

I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist/ pulmonologist once for proper diagnosis Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like Amoxiclav at least for 10 days along with decongestant and anti inflammatory.

For now do warm saline gargles.

You should take steam twice a day and apply warm dry compresses.

You can apply warm compressors on cheek side near ear as well to relieve pressure.

Avoid intake of cold beverages and outside food.

Take diet rich in fruits and have soft and bland food.

You should take steam and blow cheeks with nose closed.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
Dr. Harry Maheshwari
