Suggest Ways To Recover From The After Effects Of Meth?

I used meth and I know it can take a while for the body to readjust and recover back to normal. I m just wondering if there is anyway to speed up the process? Is there any vitamins certain foods I should have? When I ve tried to search for what it takes from the body all I get is the damaged it does. I would really like to know if it takes away your calcium ect.

Hi,

I understand your concern and I commend you for deciding to give up using and getting your body back to health. I am sure you are aware of the ravishing effects methamphetamine has on the body. It depletes your body of many vital nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

Besides starting a healthy eating and light exercise regimen, I recommend you also take vitamin B5, B12 and C suplements, which are especially recommended for recovering meth addicts. Vitamin B5, also called the anti-stress vitamin, is very helpful in curbing down the effects of meth withdrawal, helps in the production of neurotransmitters, as well as enhances the metabolism of fats, proteins and sugars, thus providing energy and helping fight the fatigue associated with withdrawal. This vitamin can be also found in foods like lean beef, nuts, eggs, black beans and rye bread. Vitamin B12 nourishes the nerves and is vital for the proper function of the liver which is damaged by the toxins in methamphetamine. This vitamin can also be found in foods like dairy and meat products, as well as eggs.

Vitamin C helps remove meth toxins from the blood. Besides being a natural immune system booster. Vitamin C also helps reduce cravings for meth. It can be found in abundance in foods such as lemons, lime, oranges, avocados, kiwi fruit, spinach, broccoli and tomatoes. Good hydration is also an important part of restoring your health after addiction. Wishing you good health and all the best.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
