Suggest Ways To Manage Pain After Wisdom Teeth Removal

Hello,
in a couple of weeks im getting all four wisdom teeth extracted under IV sedation. all of my teeth are fine, they arent compacted or grown in my jaw. Im worried that my jaw is going to be very sore since it hurts to even open my mouth fairly wide for a stretched period of time. Is there any excersizes for that or should i be fine?
Thank you

Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...

As per your complain in case if you are going to get the teeth extracted under i.v sedation you need not to worry as you will fall asleep during the surgical procedure after i.v sedation and will be unaware of what is being done and even after the surgical procedure will complete and you will get back to consciousness you will be advised to take antibiotics and painkillers so that there is no pain and you do not get infection post surgery..
Therefore you need not to worry and just relax as you will not find any discomfort during as well as after surgery, although there can be some pain and swelling which is common after any surgical procedure but it will be very well tolerated and painkillers will already be given so that you do not find any discomfort..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
