Hello Dr. I am Jaydeep Fumakiya. I am 24 year young. And I am suffering from diabetes since 3 years. I had been consulted many dialectologist but I am still not satisfied with their treatment. Because any every time initially I got good control of the blood sugar level but there after I have to increase the dose of the medicine and insulin. Right now I am taking the drugs as per the below schedule. Morning : 1 TB glimisave M2 & 12 units of insulin Noon : Vysov 50 and glucobay 50 Night : 1 TB triglimisave 2,& 10 units of insulin. (huminsulin 30/70) And my last FBS REPORT IS 163 & ++ in urin. So tell me what should I do to improve the control of sugar levels?? Please help me out.......

Your readings would be affected by your meals so you may want to consider a profile for a few days to look at your response to your meals. This would include fastings, premeal and 2 hour post meal readings.
Consultation with a nutritionist may also help. Diabetics on insulin can give varied insulin doses according to the amount of carbohydrates in the particular meal. This would help to control your readings.
A nutritionist would be able to show how to count your carbohydrates and working with your doctor , help you determine exactly how much insulin you need.
