Suggest vitamins for a 11-year-old boy to go into a growth spurt

My 11 year old son is becoming self conscious about his height. he s about 52 inches tall. Is there some kind of vitamin he can take to help him go into a growth spurt? He s already eating the healthy foods like spinach, carrots , and fruits. thanks

Hi,

Height is genetically inherited. However, there are some factors like hormones, vitamins, minerals may affect to some extent. Seeing his age, there are lot of time for his growth lengthwise. So, there is no need to worry. Consult the paediatrician for general check up to rule out any internal disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
