Suggest Treatments For Sinus Which Has Led To An Open Wound .

I'm 19 and I had 2 surgery's for it already one in Nov 2012 they left the wound open and then it opened in March then I had surgery in May 2013 that was flap cover. . I had some pain in August but it went away as I was on antibiotics for my dns surgery. .. Now I had pain and foul smelling discharge with a small opening on 12 Dec 2013 . Doc gave me antibiotics for few days and the opening closed and discharge stopped but I still have allot of pain while sitting down and one more thing this time the pain is few cm lower than the previous place of sinus. ...
What is the best treatment method for this ? Do I require a mri ?

Hi. With history and findings like the one your have wrote , I would suggest to go for MRI or better a CT scan of the sinuses to find what the real problem is. I would advise you to see if there is a caries tooth or so. Id so it will need to be removed. I would go for endoscopic clearance of he sinus, send the pus for gram staining and culture sensitivity. Proper large opening of the internal opening of the sinus and full clearance of the disease under an antibiotic cover for 3 weeks.
