Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely due to nerve compression syndrome which is caused by recurring disc herniation. For some patients the herniation can recur after some time.In such case an MRI should be done to find out the point and extent of it.I advise muscle relaxants like cyclobenzaprine, NSAIDs like aceclofenac or tramadol and neurotropic drugs.I send them for muscle strengthening exercises and Physiotherapy along with this.Loosing of excessive weight if you are obese also helps in relieving symptoms. If no improvement after this then an operative correction can be considered.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
