Hello dear,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com. Assuming that you have a definite diagnosis of migraine, gastric acidity is probably acting as a trigger factor for your migraine episodes. So,first and the foremost, you should get rid of gastric acidity. Please take pantoprazole 40 mg (under a physician's guidance only) once a day, empty stomach for 2 weeks. Also, please make dietary changes like eating less spicy foods, less tea or coffee and reducing intake of other food items which cause acidity. If even then, acidity persists, you should take a gastroenterologist's opinion for the same.Simultaneously, with pantoprazole, you should discuss with your physician to put you on anti-migraine medicines which suit you the best like tricyclic antidepressants, beta blockers, triptans, anticonvulsants or calcium channel blockers.I hope this reply helps you.
