Suggest Treatments For Renal Calculi In Tight Uterus
Hi doctor . I am a male patient of 23 yrs of height 5'7 and weight 66 kgs.I do not smoke and drink at all. I am currently suffering from Renal calculi thats in my rt ureta of size 4mm by 5 mm. Its biochemical report indicates calcium oxalate crystals in urine(1+) . There is chronic pain in the rt lower abdominal area and lower back due to referral pain. Plz suggest treatment
treatment for calculi less than 6-8mm is usually supportive treatment. your need a strong analgesic for the pain, something like nalbuphine and antispasmodic like drotaverine, you need plenty of hydration. this stone week likely pass on its own but you will experience severe pain on and off. during such episodes if oral analgesics don't work, go to er for iv analgesics. in case of superimposed infection you would need antibiotics. and if the stone doesn't pass and grows in size then you might get surgical treatment
