Suggest Treatment To Remove Ovarian Cyst

I had my right ovary removed 2 years ago because it was consumed with a 5cm fibroma! I have just come off pill and after a routine ultrascan they found a 2cm cyst on my left ovary. I m so worried I m going to loose my left ovary too, I m desperate to have children! The doctor said it seemed a simple functional cyst and should fix itself but I haven t had a period since my withdrawal bleed 5 weeks ago and I m so worried this will mean more surgery! Will this affect my future fertilty,could you help me understand what this means?

Hi, thanks for writing..
Dont worry.. 2cm is a simple functionl cyst which will disappear on it own.. Repeat scan after 3 months to see for the cyst.. Get a preganancy test and if negative take progesterone tablet to get withdrawal bleeding.. From day 2 of your periods take ovulation induction drug for 5 days and follow up with follicular study.. This will give you the time of ovulation and you can have intercourse to attain pregnancy at this time..So dont worry..Hope i have answered your query.. good day..
