Suggest Treatment To Reduce High Blood Pressure

I am 46 years old, eat healthy and do moderate exercise. However my blood pressure is 145/100 and my cholesterol 6.8. I do work night shifts at times as a police officer and often don t get sufficient sleep. Are these figures dangerously high and what can I do about it.My father had high cholesterol and bp up to his death.

Thanks for asking me this question.

Your blood pressure is 145/100 mmHg that is not normal, it is above normal level.

You have to consent your general physicians to start antihypertensive drugs.
Do regular exercise more than 30 minutes.
Take proper sleep 8 hour atleast.

Modify your diet plan.Avoid high salt foods.
Use law fatty oil like sunflower oil.
Avoid junk foods and oily foods.
Avoid fatty food like cheese, butter etc......

Regularly mesure your blood pressure.
High blood pressure may cause heart failure and widening blood vessels of heart.

As soon as possible start antihypertensive drugs and regularly mesure it.

Wish you a good health.
Take care.
Thanks.
