hi, I have a huge protrusion of my belly above the navel and below my ribs. The top of my belly makes me look pregnant. I am overweight but even when I have lost weight in the past, this part of my belly always seems to protrude. Could there be a health issue causing this?
Hello. Welcome to Health care magic. Thank you for posting your question.
Actually there is no magic plan to achieve weight reduction , but I can certainly help you out. Try to maintain a balanced diet with cereals , proteins ,vegetables . Even a little oil and fat is also required. Try to eat around 4-5 fruits a day. Keep away from fried food , soft drinks . Have small meals at regular intervals.Drink loads of water. That's all about the diet.
It would be great if you could add to that a bit of physical exercise and cardio workouts like walking and jogging. Walk for at least 40 minutes a day.
Get you blood cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL ,LDL(entire lipid profile ) done along with blood glucose test. Check your Blood pressure. If there is any derrangement of the lipid panel or any blood parameters , medication can be started. But lifestyle modification is a must for weight reduction.
Have a nice day. Regards.
