Suggest treatment to re attach an achilles tendon

I have had Achilles surgery on 5/11/2017 and had a revision again on 10/30/2017 because the first one failed. I had a 3rd surgery on 4/05/2018 because of an infection I developed and now I am told there is nothing more they can do to reattach my Achilles tendon. Do you know if there may be any other options available to me for a successful reattachment?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If the tendon is completely detached then only surgical repair can help.

I just completed 6 weeks of physical therapy for a diagnosis of achilles tendon. They worked on reposturing my weight from the balls of my feet to my heels, stretching the tendons with exercises and graston tool. Although I have gained more range of motion in the ankle I continue to have my main symptom of heel pain, especially after sleeping and sitting for more than 30 minutes. They have suggested I see a podiatrist for other options. I still have questions about if this has been helpful treatment, if I should be using orthotics or specific show types, if my S--- sock helps in bed or need a boot, if a podiatrist can help. I have been suffering for 5 months.

Hi, I have this bump looking thing on the area around my Achilles tendon. It doesn t really hurt and when closely expected, it looks more like a flab of skin that puffed up, I don t know how it happened. I just kind of noticed it one day but I thought I should ask to make sure

My 11 year old son has pain near or at his achilles tendon. He can not run without it causing pain. The condition has been ongoing for 2 weeks…not improving not appearing to worsen. There has been no trauma to the area that he can recall. He is very athletic, with an athletic build, not overweight. he played baseball earlier this summer.
