Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to health care magic. I am Dr Alok Sinha, MD Psychiatry from India. I will try my best to answer your query.

Apparently you are burnt out due to excessive work pressure and mental stress. Further diabetes may also cause weakness and depression. Stress, diabetes, and exhaustion are enemy of good sex life.

For good sexual desire the mind should be relaxed and free of tensions. If you are feeling stressed you may not have mental relaxation. As a result there will be little/no desire for sex. Taking Viagra is not a solution to your problem. Get your blood sugar checked as uncontrolled diabetes may be a reason for this.

If a person like you comes to my clinic, I advise them to follow a healthy de-stressing lifestyle by following means:-
1. Have a regular balanced diet
2. Have regular exercise, yoga meditation, rest and recreation.
3. Go to sleep and wake up at fixed times.
4. Avoid alcohol, caffeine, nicotine or any other drug
5. Reduce the use of TV, computer, mobile and switch to relaxing slow music at evening
5. Have a weekend break from work on Saturday evening and Sundays and spent time with family and children.

I suggest you to follow above mentioned advises and visit a psychiatrist who may evaluate you in detail for features of depression/stress and may advise few medicines to relax your mind. With therapy your sexual desire will certainly improve.

I hope it answers your query. I wish you all the best.
