hi. my baby girl is 6 weeks old. I am breastfeeding her and do not want to give her powdered milk. However i am cincerned that she may not have enough milk. And on another note. Is it possible to have period while preasfeeding?

Hi, thanks for writing..
With proper latching and suckling milk production increase. If your baby passes urine frequently, is sleeping well for 2 hrs after feeding and is gaining weight adequately it means she is getting adequate milk. Drink a lot of water.Perinorm is give for incresing the breast milk. Jeera, oats and fenugreek also increases the breast milk.Some people do get periods while breast feeding but it will be mostly iregular..
