Suggest Treatment To Increase HDL Level?

Good Morning Sir, Before 8 month i was on Lafaxid-d for gastritis for 3 months. 2 months back i felt weak and saw my Pulse rate remains between 90-102, Bp-156/96(Fluctuative ) Took Revelol XL 50 morning and Clonotril.25mg at bed time for 2 months . But was not so much use. Now my investigations are chol-184, tg-102, hdl-39, ldl-124.6, vldl-20.4, tc/hdlc ratio-4.72, ldlc/hdlc ratio-3.19 bl urea-18, creatinine-1.22,Sr. calcium9.9, Urine- Mic Alb-11.9. fbs-81. glycosylated Hb-6.45, I am on 50 yrs and now on Olmezest Beta 20/50 after bf , Atocor 10 after dinner by a cardiologist for a 8 days only.He advised me to take these for two months. Sir can i have some medicine to increase my Hdl Lvl . and also advise me a better step. Thanking You. anil kumar nayak.Odisha Now I check bp reducing upto 137-93

As I can get from history given by you, your lipid parameters (LDL - 124.6, HDL - 39, TG - 102) are borderline abnormal and you are currently having Atocor 10 mg which is having Atorvastatin medicine, The action of atorvastatin will be on all lipid marker (primarily on LDL but also on TG and HDL) So definitely your lipid parameters will improve as you will be continue taking Atorvastatin.

The other most important remedy to increase HDL is Mild to moderate exercise. (25-30 min walking for approx 5 days/week)

There is no need to add any other specific medication to increase you HDL level which is 39 mg/dl. If possible start Exercise as advised and continue Atocor 10.
