Suggest Treatment To Improve Digestion When Having Ulcerative Colitis
SIR !GOOD MORNING . I am suffering from ulcerative colitis gr-4 since 2010.Problem resurface since last 2 months &going through treatment from 6 weeks. I am having low fibre diet due to the problem & as such constipation occurred some time causes worsen the condition . What precaution should i take as I have few options of food ? Derolec cap will help me improving digestion ? May I take pain killers like combiflam at the need safely? Thanks for helping me ! Geet, 28, un mrd Female, new delhi

i am sorry to say that for this disease you need medical guidance for ever. for constipation take high roughage diet. take plenty of fresh fruits. avoid junk food,. your doctor would prescribe, tablet dulcolax 1 or 2 tablet at bed time,0r cremeffin or livoluk. avoid combiflam. paracetamol is safe,or add p p i ( omeprazole). can continue darolac. your doctor would recommend more better options. feedback. ask again ,if you find any problem in future.
