Suggest Treatment To Get Rid Of Severe Night Sweats

HI, I am a healthy 33 year old female and i have for many years now experiences night sweats. When I wake i am drenched and have to change my clothes. It doesn t matter is i wear light or heavy clothing, the result is the same. I will often feel fatigued the day after. I haven t kept a diary however some months are bad and some are okay. It happens before my period, maybe the first few days into my period and sometimes it occurs two weeks before. It happened last night and my period started today. I guess i just wanted to know id this was normal for someone my age or if i should see a doctor.

Hi,
Night sweats are a symptom of a variety of conditions. I would recommend you to see a Endocrinologist, who will procede to measure different hormone/electrolites levels like TSH, calcium etc.
He will also ask you to do a tuberculine test, to rule out Tuberculosis, which is usually associated with night sweats.
I hope I have answered your question.
Wish you good health.
