Suggest Treatment To Get Rid Of Pimples On The Face

Hi , Last year I had a sudden outbreak of acne on my upper back.Doctor suggested a gel and antibiotics. Since I previously had some stomach issues. I did not take antibiotics and applied the gel and the pimples did not come back. Now this year , on the onset of summer , the pimples have again come up. Can you suggest me something ? any medicine ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Pimples coming in summer suggest...sweat as a triggering factor. I would advise use of the gel you had used before(because it gave you good results).

But prevention of excess sweating by repeated bathing with cold water /wearing &changing(when there is excess perspiration) loose cotton clothes/ use of candid dusting powder on affected area after every bath) /use of sunscreen ointment as per need/avoid direct contact with sun or hot weather would help in preventing the problem of heat.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
