Suggest Treatment To Get Rid Of Drug Addiction

yes, i am battling a heroin addiction, this is a relapse after 3 years, when i first gave up i decided not to go down the methadone route and my doctor prescribed me very well and i managed to give up straight away and lasted 3 months only on the tablets, i was prescribed xanax and diazapam for day time and rohypnol for sleep, this time she is not willing to comply and i am forced to go down the methadone route, she is only prescribing me 6 diazapam 5mg daily and just one stillnoct for night while waiting for methadone, which i could be waiting 3 months for in ireland..huge waiting list, so im still using at night, its helping throughout the day but night i can not sleep, its effecting my life and her responce is for me to go to the street for my tablets for sleep, i feel like reporting her, i feel like they see me as a burden to them. where can i buy some without going to the street, because when i go to the street i use heroin. i have obtained methadone from the street and it changed my life for a week 100mls lasted 5 days, i went to get some today because i need to give a clean urine and ended up buying heroin, its affecting my whole family and i need to get better now, im trying since december.

Hi,

I think the problem is that your doctor doesn't trust you anymore because of whatever her past experience has been with you. She has a fear of her prescription being misused in some way and that probably is making her conservative in her approach to your problem. I feel that if you explain your point of view and requirements to her, she may be willing to alter her prescription. Being aggressive or threatening to report her will not help.

Best wishes.
