Suggest Treatment To Get Rid Of Dandruff
For the first time in my life (I am elderly) my entire scalp is covered with dandruff-like material; so much so that it makes my scalp feel tight. It does not itch, but my hair is breaking off. What is causing this and what can I do for it? I don t know if there is any connection here but I was born with a pilonidal cyst (which was lanced and drained at one time), and I had a deep sebaceous cyst removed as a teen-ager.

From your history it suggest that you have oily type of skin that leads to blockage of pores in the skin causing infections.
Kindly use ketoconazole 2% shampoo to wash your hair. Use ittwice a week for two to four weeks.
Kindly donot use it if you are allergic to ketoconazole or if you get rashes on using it.
