There is no need to take medicines to reduce uneven skin tone. Apart some home remedies like aloe vera gel, tomato or lemon juice that can be helpful to reduce tanning and to brighten the skin. I will suggest to try certified products(creams or serums) that are produced to diminish or correct the problem of hyperpigmentation ,dark spots and uneven skin zones. I suggest to talk with a local dermatologist for the right products for your skin problem.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
