Hi! A little over a week ago I was diagnosed and began treatment for a UTI. It was a UTI where I had frequent urination but not necessarily painful urination. I did however have cramping and back pain - which originally made me nervous that I had a kidney infection though my doctor said I did not (doctor at a UrgentCare). I've not completed the medicine and since I still have dull back pain and in addition to that I've been noticing white particles floating in my urine. These are light particles, almostly flaky looking. These make me concerned that my UTI has not cleared up, or worse. I assume I should go back to the doctor? Or is it probably nothing?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You may still have some urinary tract infection. You should go for urine routine and microscopic examination as well as culture and sensitivity testing. It will give you exact diagnosis. Then you should take treatment accordingly. Levofloxacin or norfloxacin are helpful. It is prescription based medicine so consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
