Suggest Treatment To Control Blood Pressure
My Mother s blood pressure this morning was 151/113 pulse of 76. she had a procedure yesterday where she had several injections in her back for back nerve pain . This is the sixth time she s had this procedure and the time before last had a steroid flush which put her blood pressure through the roof where we had to take her to A & E to get some medication to lower it. The top number had gone well over 200 then. Should we just monitor her or should we be concerned?

You should monitor her for a week, if she has high blood pressure during a week you should see her doctor to correct her medications. Also, I would advise you to consult her doctor, and ask to prescribe some medication to take in case of very high blood pressure such as 200 mm Hg.
