Suggest Treatment Severe Jaw Pain

I have a soft red bump on the wall of my throat to the left and also have jaw pain. The bump doesn't hurt but I am worried it can be something serious. I got my bottom wisdom teeth out two years ago but haven't gotten my top ones out because they were to high to extract. Could the bump and upper jaw pain be because of them?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain yes, there is a possibility that the red bump along with upper jaw pain can be related to your upper wisdom tooth in case if there is inflammation of gum flap that is surrounding the wisdom tooth while can also be related to deep decay in wisdom tooth or adjacent molars..

However upper jaw pain can also be related to infection in maxillary sinus of the same side..

I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation like x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

As of now take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
You can also do warm saline gargles..
Do cool compresses over the jaw..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
