Suggest Treatment Rash On Hand

I have had a rash like ringworm on my hand for nearly a year , I went to the doctors they gave me clotrimazole cream I used that for about 4 months, it did not cure the problem, I then went back to my doctors who then gave me Daktarin Cream which I have been using for 5 weeks, the rash does not look any different apart from its not quite as red , do I need to book a appointment to see my doctor again or should I continue using the cream for a few more weeks before going to see my doctor ? Thanks for contact to Health Care Magic. I figured your concern. You receive only local therapy of fungal infection, but you have difficulties because we don't know accurate diagnose. I suggest-
1. Visit dermatologist, do fungal test from skin and sensitivity to antibiotics, according to results replace antibiotic ointment/
2.Start to take general anti-fungal antibiotic in view of sensitivity.
I need more details, had you bitten by some insect or know?In case of positive answer we should differentiate with borreliosis (Lyme disease).

Best regards!
