Suggest Treatment Or Swollen Tongue And Tonsils

Hello, I am having some trouble with my tongue and tonsils. My tongue is swollen and my tonsils are too but my tonsils also have a red vein popping out along with my neck being extremely red. Can you give me any idea what it could be? I can t afford a trip to the doctors and it be nothing so please anything is helpful. Thank you.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Swelling of the tonsils suggest infection in the tonsils.
Associated swelling of the tongue can also be due to infectious process.
Tonsils are commonly involved in tonsillitis, however, they can also be involved as part of pharyngitis.
Thus, a clinical assessment is required along with a course of antibiotic.
